rain (and other stuff)

the video is pretty horrible quality (this is why it's good to NOT walk while filming) but its one of the best sounds in the world-- only since i've moved away from vancouver-- so make sure the volume is up)

the rainbow resulting from the storm:

(the green pole is part of our neighbour's lovely new trampoline which they put right against the fence so every time they're on it-- parents included-- they see our whole yard and into our bathroom)
the sky after the storm:

nothing to do with the storm but this morning i heard the fire from a hot air balloon (they seem to go kind of close to us early each morning but you usually can't hear the sound unless you listen for it). i walked outside and it was almost over our house:
